Nikolai Suetin was a Russian Suprematist artist working as a graphic designer, exhibition designer and ceramics painter. He studied at the Vitebsk Higher Institute of Art under Kazimir Malevich and became one of the leading second-generation Suprematists, exhibiting with the UNOVIS group in Vitebsk, Moscow and Petrograd. From 1932 he served as chief artist at the Leningrad Lomonosov Porcelain Plant and later designed the interiors of the Soviet pavilions at the 1937 Paris and 1939 New York World's Fairs.
